The High Court has issued a rule asking the authorities concern as to why Aysha Siddika Minni, should not be granted bail.
An HC bench comprising of Justice Md Mostafizur Rahman and Justice M Enayetur Rahim issued the rule today (Tuesday), responding to a petition filed by Minni seeking bail in a case filed over killing her husband.
The court also picked August 28 for hearing the rule.
on the other hand, the HC summoned the investigation officer of the case to appear before it on August 28 along with the case docket CD and other relevant documents of the case.
Police have so far arrested 16 people over the murder. Besides, main accused Sabbir Ahmed alias Nayon Bond was killed in a reported gunfight with law enforcers on July 2.
Meanwhile the police arrested Minni on July 16 over the murder of her husband and her bail was denied several times. And she reportedly confessed to her involvement in the murder before the court on July 19.
