BNP Secretary-General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has demanded an election under the neutral government before the current government's term was abolished.
“I want to make it clear, to those who are elected, who are not elected, who are sitting by the gun, cancel this Parliament before the time is up. Cancel this selection. Arrange for a neutral election under a neutral government.
He was addressing the chief guest at a discussion meeting organized by the Doctors Association of Bangladesh (DAB), the BNP-backed physician's organization, at the National Press Club at Zahur Hossain Chowdhury Hall on Sunday (August 4th).
Noting that Khaleda Zia is not getting the minimum justice, the BNP secretary general said, "This Awami power is completely controlling the judicial system.
Discussion was organized at the DAB's 30th inaugural anniversary.
